St. Charles, IL – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm served as the exclusive advisor to Bridge Investment Group to arrange the sale of River Glen of St. Charles, a senior housing asset located in Chicagoland suburb of St. Charles, Illinois. The final sale price was $20,000,000. Citrine Senior Communities, a joint venture between affiliates of Citrine Investment Group and Jaybird Capital, acquired the community. Jaybird Senior Living will manage the community.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Swartz, Jay Wagner, Aaron Rosenzweig, Tim Hosmer and Jack Griffin arranged the transaction.
“River Glen is an exceptional performer with a long history of great care,” said Wagner. “We are proud to be part of such a significant property to the St. Charles community.”
River Glen of St. Charles is a 106-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community with excellent performance and a well-earned reputation for exceptional care. The historically fully leased asset is comprised of high-end independent living townhomes as well as a central assisted living and memory care mansion-style building, featuring plentiful amenities, including a fitness center, aviary, library and more. The community is an important cultural landmark in the area, with a portion of River Glen of St. Charles occupying the 1939-vintage Delnor Hospital. Today the original hospital building has been combined into a modern well-amenitized campus.
