Okerstrom to Lead One of the Region’s Top Asset Services and Property Management Teams
MINNEAPOLIS, February 15, 2023 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Hans K. Okerstrom, CCIM, has joined the firm as Senior Managing Director, Asset Services.
Okerstrom will lead Asset Services in the Twin Cities region, which involves a property management portfolio of 250 buildings totaling 30 million square feet, as well as more than 130 property managers, building engineers and other staff. He will be charged with leading client services, portfolio growth and business development and recruiting top talent.

Okerstrom joins Cushman & Wakefield from Transwestern where he was Director of Property Management/ Asset Services. He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and member of BOMA, where he also has served on the Board of Directors of the Twin Cities Chapter. Over the course of his career, he’s lead renovation and repositioning projects totaling more than $450 million on office and retail properties and successfully completed more than 3 million square feet of office and retail leasing transactions. Okerstrom is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
