CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, October 02, 2023 – Cushman & Wakefield has hired Drew Barnette as Managing Director to join the Equity, Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) team covering the Carolinas. He will be based in the firm’s Charlotte office and primarily focus on helping grow the Carolinas EDSF platform that provides financial advisory services to clients across property types.

Barnette joins Cushman & Wakefield with extensive real estate capital markets experience from his 20-year career engaged in transactions throughout the Carolinas and Southeast. Most recently, Barnette served as the Managing Director of the Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group’s Charlotte office where he led the firm’s entrance into the North Carolina market in 2018. His experience includes contribution of more than $10 billion in capital market transactions involving office, multifamily, industrial, build-for-rent, healthcare and retail asset classes. Barnette has also held roles at Eastdil Secured and Prudential Mortgage Capital Corporation.
