Cushman & Wakefield’s Eric Lestin and Michael Burgower represented Khaadi in the transaction with landlord Simon Properties Group. Lestin represents Khaadi across North America.
The Galleria location is the retailer’s second U.S. store. Khaadi’s other U.S. locations include Tysons Corner Center in Tysons Corner, Virginia, which opened in February, as well as a distribution center in Washington to support online sales. Khaadi, a 26-year-old women’s wear retailer, plans to continue expanding in the U.S. and Canada. Current negotiations include leases at two major malls, one in the NYC Metro Area and one in Chicago. Future sites are being studied in Minnesota, California, Texas, Philadelphia and Canada.
“Khaadi is one of the world’s most exciting fashion brands, producing unsurpassed quality and a fusion of style to compliment both East and West,” said Lestin. “The Houston Galleria, with its strong demographics, annual visitor numbers and location, offers an excellent second location for the brand in the U.S., and we look forward to continuing our growth-partnership across North America as they build toward several dozen stores planned.”
