MINNEAPOLIS, July 30, 2024 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the firm represented ownership in leasing 11,000 square feet of Class A creative office space to marketing agency The Social Lights at Steelman Exchange in Minneapolis’ North Loop.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Tom Tracy, Katie Tufford and Harrison Rust represented ownership, while CBRE’s John Lorence represented The Social Lights. Studio BV is the designer for The Social Lights’ new workspace.
“Community is at the heart of how social media influences our culture,” said Emily Pritchard, CEO of The Social Lights. “We fell in love with this space because it allows our growing agency to infuse a spirit of creativity and innovation into the thriving North Loop community, alongside our vision for building the workplace of the future. Studio BV is the perfect partner to bring this vision to life.”
Located at 241 N. Fifth Ave. in Minneapolis’ dynamic North Loop, the 220,000-square-foot Class A office building is a newly constructed creative-office property that includes a tenant lounge with rooftop space featuring stunning skyline views, a fitness center, and a conveniently integrated, executive-caliber podium parking garage.
The Social Lights joins Grant Thornton, Calabrio and a global financial institution as tenants at Steelman Exchange. The property presently has 75,000 square feet of available space located contiguously on floors six, seven and eight, with the ability to be divided into partial floor suites under 30,000 square feet.
“With its combination of best-in-class new development and renovated historic loft and warehouse space, the North Loop has emerged as the city’s most desirable office submarket and is home to Minneapolis’ best restaurants and bars, new multifamily projects, and hippest retailers,” Tracy said. “Steelman Exchange provides the type of workplace and vibrant environment that employers need to attract and retain talent – a highly amenitized location that features desirable onsite offerings as well as access to nearby food and beverage, retail, high-end residential, and entertainment venues.”
