CHICAGO, September 9, 2024 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that investor Deutsche Bank selected the firm to lease 300 S. Wacker, with Executive Managing Director Mason Taylor and Director Paige Krueger leading the effort. Deutsche Bank also selected Tishman Speyer to provide property management, asset management and hospitality services including ZO, Tishman Speyer’s global amenity network, which will offer tenants and their employees global access to world-class spaces, services and experiences.
With its new asset services and leasing team, 300 S. Wacker will offer a new spec-suite program with tenant spaces throughout the building that will vary in size and layout.
“With its unsurpassed location, access and high-finish tenant spaces, 300 S Wacker is well positioned to capture demand as occupiers continue to reimagine the workplace,” said Krueger. “It is the ideal environment for end users seeking to create attractive, flexible, collaborative spaces with the amenities to attract and retain top talent.”
The landmark 35-story building, known for its 400-foot-tall map of Chicago overlooking the Chicago River, offers more than 535,000 square feet of Class A office space with an unsurpassed location, accessible to major arterial highways and within a five-minute walk of mass transit. On-site amenities include a tenant lounge and “food truck,” a yoga and group fitness studio and fitness center, and conference facilities.
“In terms of new leasing activity in the Loop, we’re seeing Class A buildings on the riverfront capture a disproportionate share of tenant interest and deals,” said Taylor. “That bodes well for the building, generally, but with the market-leading tenant experience we’ll create, the addition of high-finish spec suites, and our ability to close market transactions, 300 S Wacker will be a prime destination in the Chicago CBD office market.”
