As Executive Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, Chip Colvill is responsible for overseeing the company's office agency leasing group in directing leasing and marketing of a 17.9-million-square-foot portfolio of Class A office properties located in Houston, Texas. Mr. Colvill is an industry veteran in the real estate market with over 39 years of experience, having begun his career in 1984. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Colvill was president and CEO of Colvill Office Properties, a company he formed in 2001 that was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in 2020. Throughout his career, Mr. Colvill has worked for numerous institutional real estate firms, including Cushman Realty Corporation, Trammell Crow Company, JMB Properties Company, Heitman, TrizecHahn, and Tishman Speyer Properties. He has completed over 25 million square feet of lease transactions in Houston’s most iconic office developments, including 609 Main, 600 Travis, 1100 Louisiana, 910 Louisiana, 811 Louisiana, 1001 Fannin, 717 Texas, CityWestPlace, San Felipe Plaza, CityCentre, BLVD PLACE, the Galleria Office Towers, and Chase Tower (Dallas).
