Dave Lancaster is Cushman & Wakefield’s Home Builder Capital Advisory lead, bringing decades of experience in real estate finance, capital advisory, and investment strategy. With a deep understanding of the evolving residential development landscape, he specializes in structuring innovative debt and equity solutions for homebuilders, developers, and investors nationwide. 

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Dave was a Founding Principal at Tile Capital, a Palo Alto-based family office commercial real estate capital advisory firm. He also served as a loan originator for Builders Capital, one of the largest private construction lenders to homebuilders in the U.S., where he structured financing solutions for residential development projects. 

Dave’s extensive background includes leadership roles across banking, private equity, and investment management. He was the President and Chief Investment Officer of a real estate-focused family office, a senior banker at JPMorgan, UBS, and Boston Private, and a Director at Carmel Partners, a prominent real estate private equity firm in San Francisco. 

A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Dave leverages his diverse capital markets expertise to help homebuilders navigate complex financing solutions, secure strategic capital at preferred rates, and optimize their growth strategies.
