Hap serves as Vice Chairman with Cushman & Wakefield’s Triad region in North Carolina. With over 25 years of commercial real estate experience, he is well-versed in real estate development and brokerage. Hap specializes in tenant representation and income property sales, where he can draw upon his finance and development expertise to offer clients a depth of understanding beyond the typical brokerage perspective. Over the past ten years, Hap has brokered transactions totaling well over $1 Billion total value. These transactions have included many of the Triad market’s largest corporate headquarters deals as well as many larger industrial and investment property sales.
Hap’s boat, the Haphazard is well known on the East Coast and is a regular participant in major East Coast marlin tournaments. The Haphazard has total winnings in excess of $1.0 million, including top finishes in the Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament and the Ocean City White Marlin Open. Hap lives in Winston-Salem with his wife and two sons.
Hap received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Prior to entering the real estate industry, Hap was an investment analyst with Prudential Capital Markets Group.
