Mr. Kirby is the Market Lead and Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory service line for the Southwest Region. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2015 as a producing appraiser and now leads a large team of the region’s most experienced valuation professionals. As Market Lead primary responsibilities include client interfacing, complex assignment scoping, quality control, and oversight of all valuation related services transacting in the region. Our team is the market leader in terms of high quality service and market expertise. We are tasked with completing some of the most high profile and complex assignments in the region.

In addition to traditional appraisal service, our team has capabilities to uniquely serve trust and estate clients with both our commercial real estate expertise partnered with our in-house business valuation professionals. Our property tax consultant group is highly regarded as one of the most effective groups in the region with regards to reducing client’s property taxes. Mr. Kirby is engaged with all of our professionals and their respective specialties.

Mr. Kirby has been actively engaged in commercial and residential real estate since 2004. Mr. Kirby’s appraisal and consulting assignments have included all major property types including residential (single and multifamily), office, retail and industrial buildings plus other unique highly specialized properties including ground leased properties and leasehold interests.

Mr. Kirby has vast experience with land and development related assignments including existing stand- alone residential subdivisions, large scale master-planned developments (traditional and age restricted), custom lot subdivisions and condominium and apartment projects. Additional vacant land appraisals have included residential, multifamily, commercial, retail pad, and industrial sites, mixed use developments, remote speculative land holdings and ranches and farms.

John Kirby, MAI is a court qualified expert witness in both Federal Bankruptcy and Arizona Superior Courts with an emphasis in land and development related cases.
