About
Willy FitzGerald joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Midtown Manhattan office in 2022 as a Director, advising tenants on their office leasing and real estate portfolio needs. Willy’s love of advising management teams and his deep belief in the value of bringing people together in the office led him to pursue his lifelong passion for real estate with Cushman, following a fifteen year career in corporate finance and investing. He brings to his clients an unusual understanding of his their key business drivers and financial decision-making and a broad command of the real estate markets.
Prior to joining Cushman, Willy led financial planning and analysis for a business unit of Walmart eCommerce, where he was actively involved in M&A. Earlier in his career, he was a partner in a family investment partnership, Windcrest Partners, where he co-managed a long/short equity portfolio and also led direct investments in private companies and in outside managers. Willy began his career on Wall Street in 2006 as an equity research analyst with JPMorgan, researching company dynamics, industry trends, and valuation. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Willy lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Isabelle, and three children. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his family, biking around the city, backgammon, reading, playing squash, and cooking.
