“Property Tax consulting is in high-demand from our clients as they work to maximize their real estate. “Our unique blend of real estate expertise and property tax strategy allows us to achieve better outcomes than firms that take a one-size-fits-all approach,” added Michele Kauffman, V&A’s Chief Growth Officer. “Unlike traditional property tax firms, we bring the full strength of a global commercial real estate platform including deep valuation expertise, unmatched data and a national team that thrives on complexity. Jason and Lance’s extensive experience will further enhance our ability to tackle the most challenging property tax matters.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s Property Tax Agency team handles all aspects of property tax administration and management to help minimize property tax obligation, implement strategic property tax planning and reduce administrative burden. The team manages the full spectrum of property tax compliance, including assessment appeals, preparing, filing and negotiating assessment appeals, litigation management, property tax forecasting, and annual assessments and tax liability projections.
“Our goal is to support clients with best-in-class property tax management services,” said Lawson. “We manage the complexities of the tax system, so our clients can focus on their business.”
Lee and Lawson both join Cushman & Wakefield from tax services firm Ryan. Both Lee and Lawson previously worked at Morrison & Head until Ryan acquired M&H in December 2023.
Lee has been working in commercial real estate since 1996 as a tax consultant and commercial real estate appraiser. He has a Bachelors of Business Administration from Austin College, and is licensed as a Property Tax Consultant in the State of Texas.
