OVERVIEW

The building has a finished exterior of black structural steel and tinted glass characteristic of the 4 towers in the Toronto Dominion Centre. Floor to ceiling, heat absorbing, non-glare windows are characteristic of the office floors. The heating is provided by steam through high velocity induction units located around the perimeter on each floor which can be individually controlled. The tower has 24 high speed Otis elevators in 4 banks. There are 2 elevators serving the parking levels and 6 escalators serving the concourse levels. The T.D. Centre is located in the heart of the financial community where the majority of corporate and financial institutions are situated and is located on one of the most accessible blocks in the city. The building is directly connected to the underground PATH system which provides access to a large variety of shopping and restaurant facilities throughout the downtown area. There is also a direct connection to the TTC and GO train services. The Gardiner Expressway is minutes south allowing good accessibility to the major highway infrastructure.
