Living Change Now

Life is what we make it. That’s why we are making changes for people and the planet. Together with our clients, we are living change now. We are driving the shift to a net-zero world; delivering sustainable, healthy places; and creating a positive social impact.

World-Trade-Center

World Trade Center, Netherlands

In Rotterdam, we’re working on the city’s most iconic building, the World Trade Center. WTC sets a high bar for the sustainable retrofitting of historic properties, including solar panels, renewable energy and climate control systems. It started out at a “G” energy rating, and together we brought it up to “A++”.

Singapore-Sports-Hub

Singapore Sports Hub, Singapore

Life is about maximizing our resources. That’s why in Singapore we help the Singapore Sports Hub embed sustainability into everyday solutions. Like harvesting rainwater so the pitch stays green. Because by including sustainability in everything we do, we can help ensure that Life Is What Singapore Makes It.

ComCrop-Video

Comcrop, Singapore

Because life is about making the planet greener, in Singapore we’ve partnered with ComCrop to build Singapore’s first commercially scalable urban rooftop greenhouse. Together we’re bringing fresher greens from farm to table, and helping to achieve Singapore’s food security goals.

750-E-Pratt

750 E Pratt, USA

We are living change in Baltimore, where the award-winning 750 E Pratt has been setting sustainable building standards. We’ve been helping them consume less energy and optimize building solutions, achieving Baltimore’s first LEED platinum and consistently high ENERGY STAR scores.

World-Port-Center-Video-Image

World Port Center, Netherlands

We’re living change now in Rotterdam, where we helped the sale of World Port Center by assessing and confirming its strength in ESG. Because together, life is what Rotterdam makes it.

One-Court-Square_750x456

One Court Square, USA

As one of the tallest buildings outside of Manhattan, the iconic 57 storey skyscraper in Queens has always stood out. But now it’s winning awards, too. Taking the lead from our client, Savanna, our team helped modernize all 1.5 million sqm, to save over 4.4 million kilowatt-hours of electricity - 20% less than the previous year.

Bees_750x456

Hektar Nektar Program, Germany

We partnered with Hektar Nektar, on ‘Project 2028’, an initiative to protect the regional bee population and increase their number by 10% by 2028. We’ve given 500,000 honeybees a new home close to each of our German locations. Our beehives, complete with Cushman & Wakefield door signs, are buzzing with life and not only producing amazing honey but are also helping rebalance the ecosystem.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR THE JOB.

We have a global team with a world of experience and an absolute belief in the potential of Living Change Now. They've seen the benefits it brings to businesses and the planet. Cushman & Wakefield is about making the most of every opportunity. The following key contacts know that the biggest opportunities can come from creating a more sustainable future.

Obsolescence Equals Opportunity

Much has been written about the potential death of the office, with justifiable concern that some office properties may never again be fit for their original purpose. Running counter to the doomsday narrative is Cushman & Wakefield’s new publication, Obsolescence Equals Opportunity. In it, we offer a perspective focused on the upside potential for owners who are able to meet the market’s call to action.
