Kinga Bloch, HR Director at global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, has been chosen as a finalist in Top HR Manager in Action 2019 Awards. The grand gala ceremony of Poland’s flagship HR event was held in Warsaw on 23 January 2020. Kinga Bloch has been Partner and HR Director at Cushman & Wakefield since 2017.
Contestants had submitted their projects which together with the results of HR skills tests were required to carry on in the competition. Short-listed projects were then presented on social media and voted on. Kinga Bloch made it to the top ten and then to the top five, claiming a podium finish on the final day.
Kinga’s project titled “The human being in the centre of attention of the Company, or there’s more to corporate life than work” painted a picture of the organizational transformation that took place at global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield over the past three years and was driven by Kinga and her HR team. The transformation process consisted in building a work environment based on a holistic approach to employees, their health and well-being. It included employee education and training at all organisational levels, promoting a healthy lifestyle, motivational workshops and personal coaching. These measures improved employee engagement, healthy lifestyle awareness and job satisfaction, ultimately boosting the company’s bottom line.
“Investing in employees is crucial to building the company’s social and business capital long-term. Creating a climate for building health-promoting habits brings tangible benefits both to the company and individuals,” said Kinga Bloch, Partner, HR Director, Cushman & Wakefield.
Kinga Bloch has over 17 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, she had spent eight and a half years at Atos, a worldwide IT services provider.
