CushAPP – a new app for office buildings from Cushman & Wakefield

Sylwia Wiszowata-Łazarz • 11/01/2022

In early December 2021, global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield launched “WakeAPP Your Office”, a campaign to wake up office landlords to new solutions and getting offices ready for users post-pandemic. In addition to services related to analysing building operations, community building, investing in the market visibility of buildings and user safety, Cushman & Wakefield also provides landlords with access to the latest technologies through CushApp, an app developed as part of the firm’s strategic cooperation with spaceOS.

Founded in 2016, spaceOS is a leading proptech scaleup, providing the latest in IT technology for commercial real estate, coworking spaces and companies implementing the hybrid work model.

CushAPP is a complete set of tools which property owners can use, among other things, in office and flexible space management, tenant communication and community management in a hybrid workplace. The app features strong functionalities, including access to programmes, amenities and services, both in the building and in its immediate vicinity, helping to attract and retain tenants.

“CushAPP is a unique and multi-dimensional app for office buildings which significantly facilitates user access to amenities and enables landlords to optimize all the operational processes of space and community management. CushAPP greatly improves the life of employees inside a building with such functionalities as access control, visitor notification, defect reporting, ordering canteen meals, booking parking spaces or meeting rooms in communal spaces. All that is possible with a single smartphone app. CushAPP is a “WIN-WIN” solution: convenience for employees, and access to data to bring operational costs down for property owners and managers,” says Grzegorz Dyląg, Partner, Head of Asset Services Business Space, Cushman & Wakefield.

CushAPP builds a community. It keeps all users updated on all the activities in a building and enables tenants to communicate with one another. It is an important tool in the hands of companies looking for arguments that would persuade their employees to return to the office.

“CushAPP offers a unique user experience by enabling tenants to use the building ‘on-click’, which will translate into greater employee satisfaction with their workplace and willingness to be in the building. This app makes for an effective dialogue with employees – we update them on what’s happening in the building much more quickly and efficiently compared to traditional forms of advertising. It helps us carry out well-being initiatives, integrate the building’s community and almost instantly receive feedback from employees that enables us to react with lightning speed to everything we do and to implement relevant changes. CushAPP marks another step in our innovation-driven development of our services – it is definitely worth checking out this tool to find out what advantages it can offer,” says Sylwia Wiszowata-Łazarz, Associate Director, Head of Marketing Asset Services, Cushman & Wakefield.
