9/24/2019
Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged a 12,208-square-foot, 15-year lease for Amnesty International at 311 West 43rd Street in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Midtown Manhattan.

New York, NY – The global human rights advocacy organization is moving from its previous office at 5 Penn Plaza and will occupy the seventh floor of the building.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of Ethan Silverstein, Ron Lo Russo, Dan Organ and Anthony Cugini represented the landlord, DivcoWest, in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Howard Nottingham, Allyson Bowen and Christina Bicks of Savills.

“Ownership is proud to welcome Amnesty International’s presence at 311 West 43rd Street,” said Ethan Siverstein of Cushman & Wakefield. “The building’s efficient floor plate, loft-like feel and proximity to mass transporation proved to be selling points for the tenant.”

Located in close proximity to Hudson Yards, 311 West 43rd Street is a fiteen-story office building that features exposed brick, oversized windows and thirteen-foot ceilings throughout the property. The building is located just north of Penn Station and the Port Authority and is within a five minute walk to Hudson Yards with access to numerous subway lines.
