Cushman & Wakefield Hires Houston-Based Team to Focus on Valuation & Advisory Strategic Accounts, Client Development and Portfolio Oversight

HOUSTON – August 24, 2022 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has welcomed an additional four client development professionals to join Paula Thoreen, MAI, CRE, head of Strategic Accounts & Client Development for the Americas. Thoreen joined the firm in mid-July this year.

The Thoreen team is based in Houston, Texas. They join the firm from Colliers and will focus on developing business across the platform’s Americas portfolio. Prior to Colliers, the team was with Thoreen/Hale, co-founded by Paula Thoreen and Gary Hale, who is the new Cushman & Wakefield Valuation & Advisory Portfolio Lead. The team will expand Cushman & Wakefield’s work with institutional and debt clients. They have experience providing property value appraisals for institutional funds, consulting for property tax matters, litigation support and property due diligence.  

The new team members include: 

  • Gary Hale, MAI, Senior Director and Portfolio Lead  
  • George Duytschaever, Director  
  • Caroline Bockhorn, Associate Director  
  • Shelby Buckalew, Associate Director
