About
Angus Hughes has been involved in the Texas real estate market since 1994. Mr. Hughes utilizes his local tenant representation experience and his national and international experience in corporate real estate consulting to develop new, and maintain and strengthen current, client accounts.
Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Hughes has completed almost 700 transactions valued over $2.0 billion, including many major corporate headquarters relocations and renewals. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1997, Mr. Hughes lived in Austin, Texas for nine years, where he worked with a regional real estate firm. Mr. Hughes was responsible for acquiring land developments, leasing company-owned and independent buildings and completing tenant representation assignments.

- Recipient of NAIOP’s Office Brokerage Deal of the Year for Houston in 2005
- Recipient of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Brokerage Deal of the Year award for 2004 and 2005, and ranks among the top ten brokers in the Houston office
Affiliations
- Current board member of the Houston Downtown Management District
- Active member, and has held leadership positions, in several professional organizations including Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), the Houston Office Leasing Brokers Association (HOLBA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and the Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP)

- Served on the board and as past Chairman of the South Texas Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation
- Active member of the Museum of Natural Science Houston
- Served as former Director and founding organizer for the Bellaire Economic Development Council
