Jeff Smith is an Executive Managing Director and the Southeast Area Leader for Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group, based out of Charlotte. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in July 2004 and his appraisal experience includes the valuation of office buildings, subdivision development analysis, commercial land, single family residences, hotels/motels, manufacturing facilities, shopping centers, industrial facilities, multifamily properties/student housing, leasehold/leased fee interests, special purpose facilities and warehouse facilities.
Jeff entered the real estate business in 1993 as an Associate with Integrated Loan Services, Inc. He then went on to work for Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc. of Washington, D.C. in December 1996 as an Associate Appraiser. He worked for Roy F. Weston Company as Senior Acquisitions Analyst in April 2000 and in May 2001, he re-joined Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc. in their Los Angeles, California office. In November 2002, he joined American Appraisal Associates’ Irvine, California office as a Senior Consultant and was promoted to the title of Engagement Director in October 2003.
