GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum Names Cushman & Wakefield Diversity Champion and 10 Professionals Honored as Women of Influence 2022

NEW YORK - Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm, has been recognized by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum as Diversity Champion, while 10 of the firm’s professionals have been honored as Women of Influence 2022 by the publication. 

In the Diversity Champion, Company category, GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum recognized firms that are setting a precedent for other companies, not only throughout the commercial real estate industry but across the entire business community as advocates for women and diversity. Cushman & Wakefield was acknowledged for its gender inclusion efforts and programs, engagement across services lines and platforms, diverse employment goals and achievements, equal opportunities for advancement and its diverse executive team.

Individual Women of Influence 2022 honorees include President and Chief Operating Officer Michelle MacKay; Jennifer Miles, Global Accounts Director; Alison Beddard, Managing Principal, Seattle and Bellevue; Nicole Dallas, Global Integrated Facilities Management Products Director; Bregan Herrold, Chief Financial Officer, Americas; Vice Chair Mindy Lissner; Executive Director Jaclyn May; Executive Vice Chair Hannah Ott; Wanda Riley, Florida Managing Principal; and Tracy Taylor, Executive Managing Director and Managing Principal, Calgary.

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence 2022: Cushman & Wakefield Honorees

Michelle MacKay, Cushman & Wakefield President and Chief Operating Officer, and Jennifer Miles, Global Account Director, have been recognized in the Diversity Champion, Individual category for having taken significant steps to support and stand up for their female colleagues. Through their efforts in pushing diversity initiatives forward, introducing policies on an organizational or cultural level or serving as a leader of internal diversity & inclusion programs, these industry professionals garner cultural change in the workplace and/or within the industry as a whole. 

As President and COO, MacKay leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region; Global Occupier Services (GOS); the facilities services business, C&W Services; DTZ Investors; and DEI. She was appointed COO in 2020, having previously served on Cushman & Wakefield’s Board of Directors since 2018.

Miles brings extensive leadership and management experience with major Fortune 500 companies to her role as Global Account Director at Cushman & Wakefield, where she is responsible for managing real estate for a major client computing company with locations in 59 countries globally. She is adept at influencing and advising senior executives as well as driving results through management of global and remote teams and relationships. Her corporate experience is complemented by eight years of decorated military service as a Medical Services and Transportation Leader and five years of management consulting. 

Alison Beddard, Managing Principal, Seattle and Bellevue, has been recognized in the Corporate Real Estate Executive category. Often working behind the scenes, these executives not only balance clients’ space needs, costs and resources, but they serve as prominent forces in the commercial real estate and broader business community. 

Beddard, who leads Cushman & Wakefield in Washington State, oversees the strategic growth of the firm’s business lines in Seattle and Bellevue, building partnerships with professionals across the region to unlock business opportunities, maintain profitability and achieve client goals. Additionally, in 2017, she served as Global President of CREW Network.

Nicole Dallas, Global Integrated Facilities Management Products Director, has been recognized in the Property/Facilities Management category. Those recognized in this category achieve maximum levels of satisfaction for clients and tenants by driving improvements in operations and costs through implementation of best practices, sustainability and heightened efficiency with a high commitment to ethics and standards. 

Dallas has more than 20 years of global experience with expertise in portfolio optimization and cost-effective facility management operations. She has a proven record of driving and achieving significant cost savings through real estate strategy, process improvement and contract negotiation. 

Bregan Herrold, Cushman & Wakefield’s Chief Financial Officer, Americas, has been recognized in the Finance Executive category for executives who expertly navigate the current financial and economic climate. 

Herrold leads all financial processes for the firm’s largest region and partners with the business to deliver operational efficiencies, provide valuable insights through analytics, and make investments to drive long-term strategic growth.

Mindy Lissner, Vice Chair, New Jersey has been recognized in the Broker – Investment Sales category. Honorees in this category exhibit a remarkable ability to consistently meet clients’ needs with a high level of drive, discipline and entrepreneurial passion. 

Lissner has more than 30 years of experience in industrial brokerage, specializing in industrial property acquisition and disposition services, industrial leasing, strategic planning and implementation of network optimization studies and market evaluation and analysis, as well as global portfolio oversight. Over the course of her career, she has successfully completed transactions valued with total consideration in excess of $10 billion, and she remains a top producer in New Jersey.

Jaclyn May, Executive Director, Minneapolis, has been recognized in the Broker – Tenant Representation category for brokerage professionals who are well known among their growing client base as creative problem solvers who consistently exceed client expectations with the highest level of integrity and discipline and an entrepreneurial spirit.

May is a leader in Cushman & Wakefield’s Twin Cities office and an authority on providing local and global real estate advisory services for businesses and law firms, nonprofits and educational organizations. In her 14 years at Cushman & Wakefield, she has become a trailblazing business development expert while helping develop young leaders in the company. May is consistently a top producer in Cushman & Wakefield’s Minneapolis office and in 2021 she was the only woman on the top ten producers list. 

Hannah Ott, Executive Vice Chair, Indianapolis, has been recognized in the Broker – Investment Sales category for brokerage professionals who have earned reputations as industry leaders for consistently delivering exceptional results on clients’ behalf. Brokers in this category have a high level of integrity and discipline, and are driven, entrepreneurial and passionate about the art of the deal.

Ott co-leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Midwest Multifamily Advisory Group and is one of the leading multifamily investment sales brokers in the region and U.S. Her team dominates its home state of Indiana with 60% market share and closed multifamily investment sales valued at nearly $2 billion in 2021, doubling deal volume over 2020. 

Wanda Riley, Managing Principal, Florida, has been recognized in the Corporate Real Estate Executive category. Frequently working behind the scenes, executives honored in this category balance the organization’s and clients’ needs and resources and serve as prominent forces behind their firm’s growth and expansion. 

Riley serves as the Managing Principal for Cushman & Wakefield’s Florida market which includes seven locations in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale. She provides strategic leadership across the firm’s service lines and partners with professionals across the state to identify opportunities for cultivating long-lasting client relationships, achieving business growth and ensuring profitability.

Tracy Taylor, Executive Managing Director and Managing Principal, Calgary, has been recognized in the Mentor category for executives with established reputations as successful, knowledgeable mentors who provide consistent outreach and support of others in the commercial real estate field.

Taylor has had a long, successful career in sales and brokerage. She is focused on building Cushman & Wakefield’s platform in Calgary or mentoring young people entering the industry to build their careers for long-term success. In leading Cushman & Wakefield’s Calgary operations, she strives to create an environment driven by culture, not just revenue.
