As Head of Capital Markets, Canada, MacPherson Leads Holistic Capital Advisory Group Connected to Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Platform
TORONTO, November 28, 2022 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Executive Managing Director Scott MacPherson has been named Head of Capital Markets, Canada.
In his new role, MacPherson will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s Canada Capital Markets Group into its next phase, with an emphasis on growing the firm’s investment sales, debt, and equity service lines through collaboration and a coordinated team approach.

MacPherson joined the firm in 2009 as an investment broker in the Capital Markets Group. Over the past four years, he has led the Equity, Debt & Structured Finance Group. Along with his Canadian responsibilities, Scott currently sits on Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Capital Markets Leadership Committee, where he participates in developing inflow and outflow capital strategies for institutional clients looking for direct invest, co-invest, or fund investment opportunities around the world.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, MacPherson worked in New York and London with Blackheath Financial, a leading commercial real estate capital markets advisor, where he led strategic growth of the capital markets group both in North America and Europe.
