17/02/2021
Cushman & Wakefield is appointed to find and select a new operator for the Paradise Resort & SPA in Sardinia.
The bay of “Lu Impostu”, also known as the “pearl” of the Sardinian north-east, is one of the most famous destinations in Sardinia thanks to its long white sand beaches and the turquoise shades of the sea. the project involves a re-branding of the resort which will become Baglioni Resort Puntaldìa, and new member of The Leading Hotels of the World, opening on 1 June 2021.

The resort will have 78 rooms, suites and villas, some of which with breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, easily reachable on foot in a few minutes. A real 3-hectare private park that offers its guests a large swimming pool with solarium area, 2 swimming pools for children and large spaces that lead down to the sea. To enhance the resort's F&B offer, there will be a "Gusto by Claudio Sadler" restaurant, a second Italian restaurant, plus a pool bar and a terrace bar.

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts is a prestigious Italian hotel group in the luxury segment recognized internationally for the uniqueness of its services and facilities and is a world leader in elegance and exclusivity. The Baglioni Collection today consists of 8 hotels and resorts: from Punta Ala to Florence, from Rome to Venice, but also to London, the Maldives and in France to Saint Paul de Vence and Aix-en Provence.

Dario Leone, Partner, Head of Hospitality of Cushman & Wakefield in Italy, comments: "This is the third transaction by the Hospitality team in Italy since the beginning of the year, after Palazzo al Velabro in Rome and the Hotel Parchi del Garda in Lazise (VR). This confirms what emerged from our Operator Beat, a survey at the end of 2020, which highlights hotel operators' very real market interest, particularly those operating in the luxury segment in prestigious locations such as Puntaldia, and in seaside leisure destinations, where a return to pre-Covid performance levels is expected to be quicker than in other destinations.
