The global energy firm BHP planned on transitioning its operations in Singapore to a dynamic work environment. The office was located at the Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) Tower 2.
Cushman & Wakefield was retained to handle the conversion of 75,000 square-feet of the MBFC office.
Our tenant advisory team worked with the respective agents to allow BHP to stay in the Marina Bay Financial Centre Complex.

02 The Solution
The team at Cushman & Wakefield collaborated with the landlord to allow BHP to create a new and dynamic office environment for its staff.
They also facilitated the transition of 75,000 square-feet of the MBFC office, thus encouraging better interaction amongst the teams.
The lease was just one part of a number of simultaneous transactions by different parties at MBFC Tower 2. It took place over an area of 500,000 square feet.
03 The Result
This project represented the largest successful commercial office negotiations in 2018.
BHP’s then current workplace was transformed through transactions by several parties, covering an area of over 500,000 square feet.
