Christopher Robinson will join the firm from JLL in December
London, 25 September 2023 – Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has further strengthened its UK Logistics & Industrial team by hiring capital markets specialist Christopher Robinson as a Partner.
Robinson will join from JLL, where he is a Director in December bringing more than 12 years’ investment experience across the logistics, industrial and retail sectors.
His appointment continues Cushman & Wakefield’s strategic expansion within the UK logistics and industrial market, following its acquisition of consultancy Burbage Realty Partners Ltd last year. Its specialist team offers a full suite of leasing, capital markets, occupier services, project and development, valuation and consulting services.
Robinson will join one of the UK’s strongest logistics and industrial capital markets teams with eight dedicated nationwide sector specialists including International Partners Edward Cornwell and George Underwood. He will also work closely with colleagues in the firm’s UK Retail Capital Markets team, led by Marcus Wood, given the increasingly close relationship between the two sectors especially in the out of town market.
Richard Evans, Head of UK Logistics & Industrial, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Chris is a top performer in the market and his experience, in harness with his drive, enhances our ability to provide the standard-setting advice and insight expected by our clients. Importantly, he is also an excellent cultural fit for our team which has a track record of advising on the UK’s most notable capital markets deals, including two major portfolio transactions this summer.”
Jon Leedham, UK Divisional Head of Retail, Logistics & Industrial at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Chris choosing to take the next step in his career with Cushman & Wakefield is more great news for our investor clients. He is a highly-respected adviser whose experience at the intersection of the logistics and retail sectors is extremely valuable.”
