COVID-19 Risk Assessment
COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT
Cushman & Wakefield remains committed to supporting our employees, customers and clients especially through these unprecedented times and continue to work together with our supply chain and others to ensure the effective management of health and safety. As such we continue to take every reasonably practicable measure to ensure that our activities are undertaken in a manner that does not expose anyone to unnecessary risk or contribute to the spread of COVID-19. We continue to be guided by the advice of the health authorities and our protocols have been developed in alignment with measures recommended by the UK Government’s safe working guidelines; ‘Working safely during COVID-19’ as well as guidance produced by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Where we can do so effectively we will continue to engage and collaborate with our clients and customers remotely where this is possible. We are providing the technology support to enable our employees who can work from home do so safely and productively. Our confidential employee assistance program is available 24 hours a day to help colleagues who may be experiencing difficulties related to the ongoing pandemic and we continue to provide extra online resources to help colleagues manage their physical and mental well-being.
For those colleagues working outside of the office on our clients’ sites we have provided information and guidance throughout the pandemic to help them adhere to social distancing requirements and good hygiene practices. Protective equipment has also been provided where necessary.
We have reimagined our office spaces in accordance with our ‘Six Feet Office’ principles requiring social distancing and increased hygiene measures in addition to developing and communicating new protocols for our employees to follow. Finally, we have completed a comprehensive risk assessment to inform our ‘Return to Office’ process which we have shared with colleagues through our established communication and consultation forums. We can therefore confirm that our office spaces will conform to UK government guidance relating to COVID-19 and we look forward to welcoming colleagues and clients into our offices.
