Regional Managing Partner at the firm’s Bristol-based hub after more than 20 years
Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Sophia Sham as its new Regional Managing Partner for the South West & South Wales. She takes over from Tim Davis, who has held the leadership position since 2005.

She will continue her Healthcare leadership responsibilities in conjunction with spearheading the 45-strong South West & South Wales team at the firm’s regional hub office in Bristol.

“I am thrilled to be given the responsibility of leading the South West and South Wales team. Cushman & Wakefield is a key player in the region, with market leading specialists advising on high-profile projects across the region and wider UK. I am keen to nurture and develop our existing talent and use my new role to bring together our collective strengths to provide the best advice to our clients to deliver their ambitions. We also take immense pride in our social responsibility and are passionate about supporting local charities. I will continue to build on the great work that Tim has done in this area.”
Tim Davis said: “Sophia is an exceptional and trusted adviser who possesses an abundance of the qualities required for the Regional Managing Partner role. Alongside our colleagues in the region, I would like to congratulate her and look forward to seeing her successfully lead and grow the team, ensuring that we continue to inspire our specialists and deliver excellent results for clients.”

Having dynamic, forward-thinking Regional Managing Partners is imperative to the ongoing evolution and success of our UK business and will ensure that we continue to inspire our people and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients across the regions.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank Tim for his dedication and the incredible contribution he has made leading our team in Bristol for more than 20 years. He has been instrumental to the succession planning process, and I am delighted to say that, while he is passing on the Regional Managing Partner baton, he will continue to play a pivotal client-facing advisory role at Cushman & Wakefield.”
