Vibrant Retail Mix Helps Transform Iconic Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station is an iconic 42-acre development on the south of the River Thames, estimated to attract over 40 million visitors per year. The Power Station itself includes over 700,000 sq. ft of retail and 500,000 sq. ft of office space, which will house Apple's new European headquarters.

Cushman & Wakefield were instructed to advise on the retail and leisure space of Battersea Power Station, which has been transformed into a retail, dining, leisure and office destination in the heart of London’s fastest growing redevelopment area.

 

Our retail & leisure team had let and placed under offer over 90% of the commercial space at Battersea Power Station prior to its opening on 14th October 2022. The 60 concepts include, Zara's largest UK retail store, flagship stores from Adidas, Nike, and Uniqlo, and a 1950's themed cocktail bar in the fully restored Control Room B by The Inception Group.

Over 250,000 people visited the Power Station during it's opening weekend, with brands reporting stellar sales as the public embraced experiential led retail and dining.

Award winning restaurant group JKS will open Arcade Food Hall in 2023. The new food hall is a 24,000 sq. ft space and will sit in the heart of the transformed Power Station.
