Cushman & Wakefield Announces Key Appointment of Stephen Saul as Managing Director for Singapore

23/02/2016

Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services, today announced the appointment of Stephen Saul as Managing Director for Singapore, who will replace Toby Dodd, following his recent internal appointment as Executive Managing Director, Account Management for the Tri-State and East Regions in the Americas for Global Occupier Services (GOS). Stephen will report to Cushman & Wakefield’s Chief Executive for Asia Pacific, Stuart Roberts.

Stephen will lead the Singapore business and will work closely with Jun Sochi, Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Director Facilities, Engineering & Projects for Singapore, in leveraging its existing successful platform and driving growth across the broader operations, with a particular focus on the corporate real estate arm of the business.

“Singapore is recognised as a key regional and global hub among world-class cities.” said Stuart Roberts. “It is an attractive destination for investment and business and a strategic place for growing business in Asia Pacific”.

“I am extremely excited that Stephen has joined our business. Singapore is a central hub for many of our core services locally and for the region, and is a significant part of our business in Asia Pacific. Stephen will play a valuable role in leveraging his vast experience, client service and market insight that will benefit Cushman & Wakefield’s local employees, as well as attracting and retaining new and existing clients” Mr Roberts said.

Stephen is a well-respected leader with over 30 years of experience in the property industry. His impressive track record includes successfully leading and managing key businesses across Asia Pacific and he has represented key clients including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Deutche Bank and KPMG. Stephen has held senior executive positions with Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was Managing Director for both Korea and New Zealand. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President with Glenborough Realty Trust. In each of these roles, he was instrumental in driving growth for the businesses.

Stephen holds an MBA in Finance from Harvard Graduate School of Business, and Bachelor of Architecture and Urban Studies from Stanford University.

“I am confident that Steve will accelerate the great work that is already underway in Singapore and the broader region and I look forward to him joining our team.” Mr Roberts said.

Stephen will join Cushman & Wakefield 1 March 2016.
