Nee Soon Town Council (NSTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of C&W Services (S) Pte Ltd as the new Managing Agent (MA) of the town council. This contract starts from 01 June 2021 for a five-year period with an option for a further two-year extension.
With EM Services Pte Ltd’s (EMS) MA contract expiring on 31 May 2021, the Town Council appointed a tender committee along with an independent tender consultant to structure and conduct a public tender process to evaluate all options. The public tender saw the participation and competitive bids from four major property management groups. The tender was awarded based on a comprehensive criteria which took into consideration price and quality of services and experience offered following an interview by the tender committee.
C&W Services has over 30 years of experience in township management and is currently the MA for Jurong-Clementi and Marine Parade Town Councils, with more than 139,000 residential units under its care.
C&W Services takes over the position from EMS, which has been the MA since 1992 when Nee Soon was still under Sembawang Town Council.
During the transitional period, residents can be assured that EMS has committed to ensure a smooth handover, with no disruption to key services, ongoing projects, and day-to-day operations.
Our town councillors will work closely with both EMS and C&W Services to monitor services such as upgrading, cleaning and maintenance, and financial management during this period.
