Natalie will oversee a team of more than 2,000 employees from both Cushman & Wakefield’s commercial real estate business, based at CapitaSpring, and from its sister entity C&W Services, based at Chai Chee. The appointment reflects the changing buying behaviour of clients and marks the next phase of the firm’s growth.
Natalie’s extensive experience includes over 20 years in commercial real estate; prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield she held leadership positions at CBRE, Macquarie Bank and Minter Ellison. She holds both an Economics and a First Class Honours law degree.
Since 2020 Natalie has led the C&W Services business which now has a portfolio of 100 million sq ft under management, making it the largest provider of facilities management services in Singapore.
Matthew Bouw, CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Asia Pacific said: “Singapore is a key market for our business in Asia Pacific, being one the largest and most sophisticated financial centres in the region, hosting more than 4,200 company headquarters, as well as being the gateway to ASEAN – one of the fastest growing regions in the world.
“As client buying behaviours change, we are focussed on ensuring our service delivery model adapts to those changing needs across the whole real estate lifecycle. I am delighted that Natalie will be moving into the Singapore leadership role, particularly given her track record in growing our facilities management business with clients such as JTC.”
Commenting on her appointment, Natalie Craig expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I am extremely excited to take on the leadership of Cushman & Wakefield in Singapore. We are seeing growth opportunities right across our business, particularly in the government sector, the logistics and industrial sector and more generally across Singapore’s built environment where Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 requires a greater focus on energy management and asset optimisation."
She added: “I am passionate about creating high-performing and inclusive cultures and extremely proud of some of the people initiatives we have implemented in C&W Services over the past four years including digital upskilling, disability employment and corporate volunteering.”
Natalie is also the Asia Pacific Executive Sponsor of WIN – Women’s Integrated Network, an employee resource group dedicated to driving change around gender equality both within Cushman & Wakefield and across the industry.
