Javier Bernades

Javier has been responsible for the Business Space Agency team in Spain since 2013. The team represent both landlords and tenants in the leasing of office space and industrial space. He is also member of the Spanish Board and member of the EMEA Office Leadership Group.

Javier joined Cushman & Wakefield’s in June 2011. He started in the real estate industry in 1999, after working in corporate banking for 3 years. He stands out for having consolidated the concept of tenant representation in the Barcelona market and for having been the CEO of Grupo Ferran-Oncor International.

Throughout his career he has had experience across all parts of the real estate value chain: investment transactions, leasing and asset management.

He has an extensive experience in both markets, Barcelona and Madrid. Javier led the biggest deals in Madrid (Huawei, 21.000sqm) and Barcelona (Schibsted, 11.000sqm) in 2016, as well as in 2018 (Everis: Madrid, 35.000sqm; Barcelona, 25.000sqm).
