    Seniors housing refers to residential communities and housing options designed to cater to the unique needs of older adults. It's crucial because it provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for seniors as they age, promoting both physical and mental well-being.  

  2. What Are The Different Types Of Seniors Housing Options Available?  
    Within the seniors housing spectrum, there are three main definitions, as decided by ARCO External Link. They are, Retirement Housing, Integrated Retirement Communities (IRCs) and Care Homes (Including nursing homes).   3. How Many Seniors Housing Units Are There In The UK? 
    Currently, there are 602,633 seniors housing units in the UK. Just 88,530 of these are Integrated Retirement Communities (IRC’s). 87% of these were build pre 2010 and just 13% were build post 2010.  

  4. Is There A Rental Model For Seniors Housing In The UK? 
    Currently, 61% of the market is retirement housing available for rent through a voluntary or public providers, the majority of voluntary providers are housing associations and not-for-profits, and the majority of public providers are local authorities.
