The PFM Partnership Awards recognise the essential role effective partnerships play in delivering exemplary service in the facilities management industry. The ‘Partners in Sustainability’ category recognises those who take effective steps to reduce the impact of facilities on the environment, including the reduction of carbon emissions, resources, waste in all areas and the processing of all unwanted material in the most effective manner through successful partnership working.

Cushman & Wakefield’s relationship with Virgin Money spans more than 12 years. During this time, the firm has worked closely with the bank to help reduce carbon emissions in line with Virgin Money’s public commitment for net zero carbon by 2030 and complementing Virgin Money’s “A Life More Virgin” strategy. Such strategies include planning for capital investment in sustainability and consumption, refining its portfolio strategy and enhancing its ESG activity.

Caroline Gardiner, Strategic Head of Integrated Facilities Management, EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Improving environmental performance is front of mind for everyone involved in real estate and we are delighted to have been recognised for our work in sustainable performance with Virgin Money. The team has worked incredibly hard to achieve positive impact for the bank and this award is a testimony to us all progressing in the right direction towards a more sustainable future.”
