Cushman & Wakefield Philippines is pleased to present its February 2020 issue of the Property Market News report. This month, we take a look at new project developments happening across the country as well as the impact of the COVID-19 virus outbreak on the Philippine property market.

 

GENERAL PROPERTY

  • The outbreak of COVID-19 disease has caused a stir to the Philippine property market. Preliminary figures show a decline in tourist (both foreign and local) arrivals.
  • The Philippines' first potential REIT listing is in sight as AREIT, an Ayala Land Inc.-led company, has filed a registration statement at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) for a 478.64 million shares offering to the public.
