C&W appoints Carmen Jiménez and Patricia Martín as co-directors of Capital Markets in Madrid

Carmen Jiménez and Patricia Martín have ten years of experience in the real estate consulting sector, with a special photo in the Madrid market. Before joining the Capital Markets team, Carmen was part of the Agencia Oficinas team, leading tenant representation services in Spain. For her part, Patricia, before joining C&W, worked at Deloitte and was part of the Valuations department and the Capital Markets team in Savills, with a focus on the Madrid office market.

According to data from C&W, the real estate sector closed the first quarter of 2022 with an investment of 3,600 million euros, 28% above the average of the first quarter of the last 5 years. On the other hand, the consultancy predicts that investment in all segments of the sector could exceed 12,500 million euros this year, closing at levels similar to 2021.

During the last months, the team has advised important operations in Madrid, such as the purchase of Vizcaya 12 by Swiss Life Asset Managers France, or the purchase of Áncora 40, current headquarters of Just Eat, by Deka Immobilien. Cushman & Wakefield also advised the largest investment transactions that occurred in 2021 in Spain. The real estate consultancy advised the sale of Sea Towers, located at 22@, for 185 million euros; and the building of 22@ One Parc Central, for 128 million euros. The consultancy also advised the sales transactions of Diagonal 123, for 55 million euros; and the Parc Cugat building, for 27 million euros.

With these promotions, Cushman & Wakefield is once again betting on internal talent. According to Carmen Jiménez, "the trust placed by the company is a source of pride."
