The Spanish Association of Shopping Centres and Parks (AECC) is the meeting point of the industry that bases its success on integration, innovation and competition.
Within the framework of the Congress, the two projects of the real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield, Infinity in the category of best innovation action and Origin as the best corporate ESG model, have been awarded in the AECC 2022 awards.
Infinity is an innovative shopping center loyalty project launched in June 2018 by Cushman & Wakefield. This Smart Data tool seeks to connect with customers through its mobile APP, creating a value relationship that allows collecting, processing and analyzing relevant and intelligent information with which to better understand their behavior and, with it ,hypersegment and personalize communications or the center's own strategy, with the aim of increasing inflows and sales, making an added contribution to its brands and improving customer engagement. Infinity evolves the management of Big Data, optimizes segmentation and promotion options, integrates new technologies into the experience, and creates new digitized services that facilitate the visitor experience. It reformulates the customer journey and, with it, shapes a new omnichannel experience in which tens of thousands of visitors can interact in an exclusive way with the commercial space thanks to unique advantages and experiences.
For its part, Origen is a responsible management campaign developed by Cushman & Wakefield in 2021 that, inspired by the 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT Goals of the UN, has achieved a positive impact in the field of sustainability of its centers and commercial parks under management. Its strategy acts in line with compliance with environmental, social and corporate governance factors marked according to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria. More than 750 actions have been carried out and more than 35 agreements have been signed with organizations, obtaining results based on real commitment to society, inspiring their audiences, involving the local community, promoting solidarity and the preservation of the environment and incorporating new measures and actions that produce a positive social impact, economic and environmental.
Cushman & Wakefield is one of the leading real estate consultancies in Spain, responsible for a portfolio in management of 1.5 million m2 of shopping centers and parks and with an annual influx of more than 140 million visits to them. According to Rafael Mateu, international partner and Head of Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield Spain, "these two awards represent an award for our commitment to innovation and sustainability as fundamental strategic axes in the shopping centers and parks that we manage with the aim of offering the best service to our customers".
