The organisation of Primavera Sound, the festival that brings together the latest musical proposals in its line-up, is changing its headquarters in Barcelona. The company will locate its offices in Torre Diagonal Mar, owned by Union Investment. It has been an operation advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
Until now, the company was located in Diagonal 189, a building owned by RBA Editores, where the firm occupied approximately 2,200 m2. The company now occupies 2,500 m2 spread over two floors of the TDM building (Torre Diagonal Mar), located at Carrer Josep Pla 2, in Barcelona.
The building has recognised sustainability certificates, LEED Platinum, Bream Very Good / Excelent, and ISO 50001, and the building has recently been connected to DistrictClima, the urban heating and cooling network, which will further reduce the building's CO2 emissions and put it at the forefront of sustainability.
In this sense, Imma Santacana, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, has highlighted that "this operation shows that buildings that are not new construction, but that have invested in major improvements and renovations in their spaces, and especially in terms of sustainability, are also a good option to attract talent and large companies".
This change of location is largely due to the location of the Union Investment building itself, as the Primavera Sound offices will now be located right in front of where the annual festival takes place, on the seafront. In addition, along with the firm, Vampire Studio, the festival's creative agency, will also move into the building.
