John Freker is a Capital Markets specialist and joins from Colliers
LONDON, 1 November 2023 – Cushman & Wakefield has appointed John Freker as a Partner to its UK Student Accommodation team.
He joins to further strengthen the firm’s wider living offer and will be responsible for managing student housing transactions and providing clients with specialist investment advice. He will be based in London and representing clients across the UK.
Freker brings over 13 years of experience in real estate advisory, lending, M&A, and restructuring. He was most recently working in Colliers’ National Capital Markets team, specialising in capital advisory mandates involving operational real estate advising clients such as QIP and Get Living.
Prior to this, he was an Associate Director in Corporate Finance at JLL and Savills, respectively. He previously advised on Blackstone’s acquisition of iQ Student Accommodation and Oaktree’s disposal of The Student Housing Company.
